Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials.
• Supporting students with individual needs, including behavioral management and physical care tasks.
• Assist and supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Assist in clerical duties within the classroom/building.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students on tasks, projects or assignments.
• Help maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with data collection, record keeping or other tasks related to classroom activities.
• Communicate regularly with the teacher to provide information about students and support behavioral and instructional goals.
• Collaborate with a team to develop, implement and review support plans for students.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
• Participate in staff development and training to maintain or develop increased professional knowledge.
• Other such duties as assigned.
