Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a teacher in creating instructional materials.
• Supervise and escort students to ensure safety and welfare.
• Provide classroom-related clerical support such as notes, folders, and data collection.
• Prepare instructional materials and teaching aids under teacher direction.
• Assist with lunchroom activities and supervise nap/rest periods.
• Assist in care for children when the teacher is absent for short periods.
• Support small group discussions and activities; assist individual students as assigned.
• Utilize programs with groups of students and perform daily living assistance as needed.
