Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide at Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role supports teachers, assists with classroom activities, and helps maintain a positive school climate in EK-12 settings.

You will assist with student behavior, participate in activities and events, and help with clerical tasks while complying with school policies and state laws.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of college coursework required.
• Paraprofessional’s Exam completion or eligibility.
• Proficiency with MS Office and classroom technology.

Responsibilities

• Support lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Assist with planning classroom activities and student relations.
• Aid with school activities and events (assemblies, field trips, etc.).
• Perform clerical duties and help with classroom technology.
• Help maintain classroom cleanliness and school areas.
