Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an Instructional Aide at Foundation Academy of Mansfield in Mansfield, Ohio. You will assist the Teacher with classroom activities, support student learning, and promote a positive school climate.

The role requires assisting with technology, maintaining a clean learning environment, and helping with school-wide activities. Experience in education settings and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups of students and follows instructional plans as assigned by the Teacher or School Leader.
• Helps plan classroom activities as directed by the Teacher and supports the Teacher in all student and parent relations.
• Assists with school activities, including parent-faculty nights, faculty meetings, assemblies, commencements, fundraisers, chaperoning student activities, and committees.
• Performs clerical duties, including grading papers and making copies.
• Assists the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Helps maintain cleanliness of the classroom, lunchroom and other school areas.
• Understands and implements the school’s philosophy and mission.
• Other duties including field trips, morning/ dismissal/lunch duty.
