Job summary

Riversink Elementary in Crawfordville, Florida seeks a 26-27 RES Time Limited Paraprofessional to support teachers and students. This role involves preparing instructional materials, supervising small groups, and assisting with classroom management and record-keeping.

Starting immediately, the paraprofessional will help adapt lessons for diverse learners, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with staff to deliver a quality educational program for students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years of postsecondary study or an associate degree or higher, or Praxis ParaPro.
• Proficient in typing, office machines, general filing/organization and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with children in an educational setting; highly qualified requirements by 6/3/11.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher(s) in preparing materials and equipment for direct instructional activity.
• Schedule space for specialized instructional programs and coordinate equipment and setup.
• Assist in planning and organizing supplies for changing curriculum and diverse learners.
• Lead small group activities and provide instructional assistance as planned by the teacher.
• Maintain records, confidentiality, and support classroom management and assessment data.
