Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 60 college hours OR passing ETS/Parapro or equivalent exam.
• Successful completion of Level II background screening as required by Florida law.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and school procedures while supporting student instruction and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning, organizing, and implementing instructional activities for individuals, small groups, or the entire class.
• Reinforce lessons and provide accommodations and interventions under teacher direction.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
• Assist with diagnostic/pre-prescriptive testing and progress monitoring as directed.
• Support technology-based instruction and educational equipment to enhance learning.
