Job summary

Liberty Public Schools provides a Classroom Paraprofessional role that supports the instructional program within an assigned classroom, working with individual and small groups of students and providing clerical support to teachers and staff.

This is a full-time, 10-month position (August through May) with a 30-hour work week, offering a solid benefits package and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• DESE approved paraprofessional test or 60 college credits or completed substitute course.
• Criminal background clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program in assigned classroom with individual or small groups.
• Provide clerical support to teachers and staff.
• Assist with classroom management and student accommodations as needed.

Classroom Paraprofessional provides support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for working with individual and/or small groups of students; and providing clerical support to teacher/s and staff.

Pay

Reading TutorParaprofessional - $15.83 - $19.87 per hour (based on relevant work experience)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
• DESE approved paraprofessional testor60 college credit hours ororcompleted the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course and received a substitute certificate.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
