A confession: we did not invent good classroom management. We spent thirty-plus years studying the educators who had it, distilling what they did, and turning it into a program any willing teacher can learn. Portions of that work were shaped early on with guidance from UCLA's Dr. Madeline Hunter and Coach John Wooden, and it has been road-tested in American schools ever since.

What we need now are coaches to deliver it. The Center for Teacher Effectiveness (founded 1993, over 400,000 educators trained) is hiring classroom management coaches on a contract basis. The work is equal parts presenting and coaching: you teach the model to faculties, then help teachers translate it into their own rooms, their own grade levels, their own toughest fifth period.

You would work as a 1099 contractor with commission pay. Training days carry a $1,000 minimum and commonly pay above it; there is no cap and no hourly clock. Your existing job, if you have one, stays yours. Many coaches on our roster train during breaks, on release days, and in summer.

The right background is any blend of successful teaching, instructional coaching, mentoring, or school leadership, plus a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field, plus a track record of classrooms and schools that ran well under your influence.
