Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of a teacher, including one-on-one or small-group work.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and help with inventory and equipment care.
• Help keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground times.
• Support substitute teachers as needed.
• Report any special needs or problems of individual students to the teacher.
• Participate in staff development and staff meetings.
