Job summary

The Archdiocese of Omaha is looking for an Assistant to the Principal at All Saints Catholic School in Omaha, Nebraska. You will assist the classroom teacher, support students' academic and social-emotional growth, and maintain a safe learning environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, effective communication skills, and a commitment to living out the Catholic faith. Previous experience working with students is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students preferred.
• Understanding of basic principles of childhood development.
• Must complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment training.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with lessons using developmentally appropriate practices.
• Support academic and social-emotional growth.
• Help guide students through daily routines.
• Organize classroom prep work for the teacher.
• Establish collaborative working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Provide active supervision for student safety.
