Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 60 college credits from an accredited institution.
• 1-3 years work experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with students, parents, and others.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of current technology.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform instructional support tasks to facilitate effective teaching and provide tutoring as needed.
• Plan daily lessons with instructional leaders to meet diverse student needs.
• Follow the classroom schedule, proctor and grade assessments, and record attendance.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Attend meetings and assist with school events as required.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom.
• Maintain respectful relationships and comply with MNPS policies and laws.
