Montessori School of Denver (MSD), located in beautiful Colorado, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Classroom Assistant Teacherto join our Horizons Colorado at MSD Primary program for the summer of 2025 and every summer moving forward.
Job Overview: Assistants supervise children, redirect children when needed, maintain the cleanliness and order of the classroom, and support young children in group settings. Assistants will gain an understanding of the scope and sequence of the Montessori materials, the importance of the environment, the significance of the quality of their interactions with the children, and their role as a valuable aide in assisting the lead teacher.
Hiring preference will be given to applicants who are Group Leader or Assistant Group Leader Qualified. Ideally, we would love to find a candidate who can return to assist each summer. Montessori experience is highly preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the desire to work collaboratively as part of a team are a must.Successful candidates will join a dynamic, supportive, and forward-thinking community.

Reports to: Director of Auxiliary Programming/Horizons at MSD Site Director and/or Horizons at MSD Site Coordinator/Lead Teacher
Department:Education
FLSA Status: Nonexempt[2] , Number of Days Paid – 29 + 1 paid holiday (Juneteenth)
Compensation: $25.00/hour
