Job summary

Pathways Wellness Center in Eureka, Missouri seeks a Classroom Assistant to support teachers and students. This full-time role is 30 hours weekly, 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., starting August 18, 2026.

Pay starts at $17.94/hour, or $18.69/hour with MO teacher certification. Work under the teacher and principal to prepare materials, supervise students, assist with routines and field trips, and support learning activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited college/university or Missouri substitute certificate.
• Experience assisting in classroom settings is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office and Google programs; able to support teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional materials and demonstrations.
• Supervise students and manage classroom routines.
• Assist with field trips and learning activities.
• Help develop learning packets and instructional aids.
• Support teacher in progress checks and grading tasks.
• Work under supervision of administration to supervise students during lunch and recess.
