The Classroom Aide position is employed to assist a teacher or teachers in teacher-supervised instructional and non-instructional tasks, working with students in classrooms. The person occupying the position reports directly to his/her assigned teacher. This is a non-tenured position and is subject to annual review.? The Classroom Aide is responsible for the efficient performance of assigned activities, including those described below.?

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: ?

Part-time 5 ½ hours per day, five days per week. Not to exceed 30 hours per week. Hourly position during the academic school year.?

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ?

Mostly indoors in a classroom setting. Occasionally work in an outdoor recess or gym class setting.? Physical requirements include bending and stooping.
