Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Classified Systems Administrator (Staff III/IV) to manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and endpoint security within a secured IT environment. You will develop automation with PowerShell and Ansible, maintain RMF and STIG compliance, and respond to incidents from Tier 1 to 3.

Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 certifications are required. This on-site role offers a challenging mission, competitive pay, and opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 baseline (Security+ or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years in systems administration; higher for Staff IV.
• Proficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory and Windows Desktop.
• Working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGs.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities with ACAS and SCAP tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch operating systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Maintain system performance and uptime; respond to incidents.
• Develop PowerShell and Ansible scripts to automate tasks.
• Maintain compliance with RMF, NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs.
