Job summary

Leidos is seeking an early career System Administrator to join the Corporate Information Security team in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on Windows server and desktop administration, virtualization, and infrastructure support in a classified environment.

Required active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret. Bachelor's degree and IAT II certification preferred, with DoD RMF familiarity and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret eligibility desired.
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
• Experience managing multiple air-gapped lab systems in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Risk Management Framework environments for Windows/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and network devices; some Linux experience preferred.
• Document system configurations and baselines.
• Provide backup and recovery services while managing file systems and disk space.
• Utilize Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and ESXi for virtualization.
• Handle on-site tickets and prioritize daily support tasks.
• Manage user accounts and access control in domain or stand-alone environments.
• Ensure proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS issues on servers and workstations.
• Lead or contribute to multiple projects as needed.
