Job summary

Quindar is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own secure, reliable systems across classified environments supporting government partners. You will manage RHEL, Windows Server, Kubernetes, virtualization, storage, backups, and core network services to ensure mission readiness.

In this role you’ll implement security controls, support accreditation efforts, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate with ISSM and engineering teams to sustain compliant operations in high-security spaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure administration in an enterprise or government environment.
• Active, current U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher.
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL: install, configure, patch, troubleshoot, and security hardening.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience operating virtualization, storage, and backup/recovery systems.
• Experience applying security and compliance requirements in a classified environment.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST controls, and DISA STIGs.
• Knowledge of networking, IAM, monitoring, and incident response.
• Ability to document systems clearly and own infrastructure from deployment through operations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, patch, harden, and troubleshoot RHEL and Windows Server systems.
• Build and maintain virtualization, Kubernetes, storage, backup, and recovery systems.
• Manage access controls, monitor system health, review logs, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Support security assessments, accreditation documentation, remediation plans, and continuous monitoring.
• Automate repeatable administration tasks and improve alerting and procedures.
• Diagnose issues across servers, storage, networking, and applications, including after-hours support.
