Job summary

Guthrie Public Schools is seeking a District Certified HVAC Technician in the Maintenance department to install, repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment across the district, including rooftop units, multi-zone systems, boilers, and Geo Thermal installations.

The position reports to the Director of Operations, carries a 12-month, full-time schedule, and offers pay at $20 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Drivers’ License
• Must have and maintain a Oklahoma Certified Electrical License
• Must have a high school degree or GED
• The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to some of the listed qualifications.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of the HVAC Technician is to install, repair, replace, and preventive maintenance of all HVAC equipment in the district. This includes roof top units, multi zone systems, low-pressure boilers, high efficiency boilers, and Geo Thermal systems.
• Working with outside contractors and vendors for new installation and replacement of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Any other duties assigned by the Director of Operations

This will also require removal and installation of HVAC systems as needed throughout Guthrie Public Schools.
