Description:

You will be the Information Systems Security Officer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Team, responsible for securing lifesaving products and critical state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing systems by applying cutting-edge cybersecurity principles.

What You Will Be Doing

As the ISSO, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day information system security operations, ensuring compliance with internal and customer security requirements, and maintaining the security and integrity of our systems.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Oversee day-to-day information system security operations
2. Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements
3. Monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events
4. Document compliance actions and address non-compliance in the allotted time frame
5. Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices
6. Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections and perform risk assessments
7. Maintain records for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, and other equipment throughout the information system's life cycle
8. Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system and advise the ISSM of their security relevance
9. Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
2. DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level III certification
3. Experience with IS auditing and investigations
4. Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements
5. Hands-on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools
6. Experience with developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts

Desired Skills:

1. Currently working in environment supporting IC customers
2. Proved ability to obtain and maintain system ATOs
3. Hands-on experience with ICD 503/JSIG and DAAPAM
4. Experience implementing new and complex technologies at multiple classification levels within large environments and at an Enterprise level
5. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.
6. DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level III certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
