Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Cloud Engineer to act as the technical lead for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure classified and unclassified cloud environments supporting R&D programs and system accreditation. You will define requirements, build and deploy cloud environments, and develop ATO-ready designs and documentation.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, and readiness to work on-site in Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a technical field.
• CURRENT Security+ certification (or DoD 8570 IAT Level II).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with unclassified/classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for unclassified and classified cloud environments and translate into scalable designs.
• Build, deploy, and maintain R&D cloud environments including VPCs and data workflows.
• Develop final system designs for ATO readiness and CONOPS documentation.
• Create classified cloud architectures and documentation to support accreditation.
• Produce summary reports with lessons learned and security recommendations.
• Maintain technical docs, monthly security summaries, and cost reports.
