Management & Training Corporation (MTC) in East Texas operates the Henderson facility and seeks a supervisor to lead counseling services and case management. You will oversee reception and discharge procedures, ensure policy compliance, and manage staff assignments in a secure, compliant environment.
The role emphasizes leadership in classification processes, training delivery, and meticulous record-keeping to support inmate welfare and facility operations.
Pay: $24 per hour
Work schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday - Friday

You’ll directly supervise designated employees and be responsible for the management of counseling services, which includes case management and reception/discharge procedures in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) directives.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or United States Department of Education (USDE). Three (3) years full-time, wage-earning correctional custody, law enforcement, Inmate case management, or correctional unit operations experience. Each year of experience in excess of the required three (3) years may be substituted for thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis. One (1) year full-time, wage-earning Inmate classification experience. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements and pass an annual background check, both of which must be approved by TDCJ.
