Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Corrections in Columbia seeks a dedicated case manager for inmate labor and pre-release programs. The role demands supervising a caseload, coordinating with employers, offices, and agencies to secure job placements, and preparing progress reports to monitor inmate development.

You will advise on release eligibility, conduct weekly orientation sessions, maintain inmate records, and support classification processes.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and related experience. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the required related experience.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• An associate’s degree and any one (1) year combination of administrative and/or correctional experience.
• A high school diploma and any (2) year combination of administrative and/or correctional experience.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:

OR
