Job summary

Thales Academy Cary is actively hiring a Junior High and High School Science and Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The mission of Thales Academy is to provide an excellent and affordable education for students in Pre-K to 12th grades through the use of Direct Instruction (K-5) and a Classical Curriculum (6-12) that embodies traditional values.

A passion for teaching.
Teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Curriculum: Implementing the approved curriculum with proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
Cooperation: Working closely with teammates to develop teaching skills.
Collaboration: Participating in team planning and sharing curriculum and instructional expertise.
Professional Development: Engaging in offered professional development opportunities.
Professional Etiquette: Maintaining a professional demeanor in communications and behavior.
Communication: Promoting communication with parents, community members and teammates, and supporting home-school connections.
Parental Involvement: Assisting in opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.
