Responsive Education Solutions is seeking teachers for Founders Classical Academy with a democratic classical model and Core Knowledge curriculum. You will lead learning for 20-27 students, promote civic education, and collaborate with parents to build competencies for life in society.

The role emphasizes virtue, rigorous instruction, and the ability to implement classical teaching methods while maintaining a productive, organized classroom and active parent communication.

Qualifications

• Texas State Teacher’s Certification in subject to be taught.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing score on ExCET/TExES.
• Bachelor’s degree with minor/major in core subject areas.
• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant work exp with recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons using classical traditional methods.
• Assign lessons and correct classwork and homework timely.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report progress.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades and parent communications via online tools.
• Maintain a disciplined, safe classroom conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers for accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Assist in marketing and student recruitment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
