Job summary

BRAVE Church seeks a Classroom Teacher for Grammar K-6, Logic 7-8, or Rhetoric 9-12 to join BRAVE Academy. The role partners with the Dean of the grade level to deliver classical Christian education anchored in Scripture and a biblical worldview.

Regular church attendance is required as all BRAVE Academy faculty are employed by BRAVE Church. Commitment to the mission and positive classroom leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required; bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Classical Educator Certificate or relevant experience strongly valued.
• Ability to integrate biblical worldview across all subjects with clarity.
• Proficiency in classical pedagogy for a Christian classroom.
• May be required to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Integrate biblical truth across all subjects and promote Christ-centered worldview.
• Apply classical pedagogy with curriculum scope, sequence, and pacing.
• Maintain a well-organized, beautiful classroom reflecting Christian virtue.
• Establish routines and supervise attendance, homework, and materials.
• Foster relationships with students and families; communicate about the model.
• Support school events and collaborate with the Dean/Head of School.
