Annapolis Christian Academy is seeking a Grammar School Teacher to educate students in grades K-6 within a Classical Christian framework. The teacher will seek to develop Christ-centered understanding, virtue, and lifelong learning in a church‑affiliated setting.

The role emphasizes spiritual leadership, rigorous liberal arts instruction, and collaborative communication with families, while maintaining professional standards and classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience and gifting considered.
• Be a spiritually mature Christian who is a student of the Word of God and seeks to display Christian virtue in every part of life.
• Affirm the Bible as the only inerrant, authoritative Word of God and uphold the beliefs set forth in the school’s Statement of Faith.
• Be in good standing with a local church, attending regularly and committing to the Christian disciplines of frequent Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with believers.
• Commit to resolving conflict according to the Matthew 18 principle, maintaining a spirit of peace within the staff, and not tolerating attitudes of divisiveness within the community.
• Demonstrate ability and a genuine passion for teaching students.
• Commit to learning the Classical Christian method of education, including attendance at bi-weekly training in classical teaching, as well as monthly professional development sessions.
• Uphold the mission, philosophy, and culture of Annapolis Christian Academy.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
