Kinnaman’s Hot Rods in Cartersville, GA is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to work on classic and performance vehicles. The role focuses on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and doing things the right way.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, restoring, upgrading, and rebuilding classic engines, tuning carbureted systems, and handling electrical, suspension, and drivetrain work, with an emphasis on independent problem solving and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Must have strong automotive diagnostic ability.
• Proven experience with classic cars and carbureted engines.
• Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems.
• Experience with classic suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, restore, and customize classic vehicles.
• Perform tune-ups, upgrades, and full engine rebuilds.
• Work with carbureted engines and older ignition systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (classic and modern).
• Troubleshoot suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain systems.
• Diagnose manual and automatic transmissions.
• Perform general repairs on newer vehicles as needed.

Pay: $62,400 – $72,800 annually
