Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Must hold or be eligible for Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).
• Knowledge of state certification requirements, classroom management, and instructional best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop written lesson plans aligned with instructional objectives.
• Maintain accurate attendance and student progress records.
• Apply effective teaching methods and adapt instruction to student needs.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior.
• Participate in in-service meetings and extracurricular activities.
