Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team in Missouri. You will read specification sheets and blueprints, then assemble parts to exact specifications, install hardware, and insulate panels per the documented processes.

You will handle paperwork and operate rivet guns, air guns, knives, welding tools, and other hand tools to support efficient production. You will also assist colleagues as needed and help move shipments with a bridge crane or hoist as required in the

  • Attention to detail to assemble parts to specification.
  • Willingness to complete required paperwork accurately.

  • Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet and blue prints.
  • Assembles parts to specification.
  • Installs hardware and other purchased parts into assembly per specification.
  • Insulates panels as described on specification sheet.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork.
  • Utilizes rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools to perform duties.
  • Assists others in the performances of their duties.
  • Bridge crane or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

Hiring Hourly Rate

$21.50 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
