Job summary

N.A. Trading Company in Commerce, CA is seeking a Class B Truck Driver to operate 26ft (or longer) box trucks on local routes, primarily delivering to restaurants. You will perform inspections, load/unload cargo, and maintain delivery records while delivering excellent customer service.

Must have a valid Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible hours including weekends/holidays are required, with medical/dental/vision benefits available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and no at-fault accidents in the last 5 years.
• Minimum 2 years of Class B box truck experience.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good condition.
• Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques and secure cargo.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering punctually and addressing inquiries.
• Adhere to safety regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to resolve transit issues.

Location: 6021 S. Malt Avenue Commerce, CA 90040.

Compensation: Hourly: $20/hr - 24/hr

Work Week: 6 Day (M-F, Saturdays As Needed)

What You’ll Do

As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company, you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly to management.
• Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques, ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws, including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Class Bcommercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, with no more than 4 points on your license in the last 5years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class Bbox truck driver.
• Demonstrated knowledge of all local traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
