Mercaso in Commerce, CA is seeking a full-time box truck delivery driver to join our growing fleet. Deliveries are made to businesses in LA, OC, Ventura and San Bernardino counties with early dispatch between 6–8am, and six-day opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years licensed driving experience, a clean record, and familiarity with 20–26 ft box trucks, lift gates, pallet jacks, and scanner verification. This role emphasizes safety and top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class C driver's license and a safe driving record for the past 5 years.
• Minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experience; box truck experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent and English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 20–26 ft box trucks to deliver products with liftgate and electric pallet jack.
• Prioritize customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
• Stack cases on a dolly for delivery.
• Lift and move boxes up to 60 pounds.
• Use handheld scanners to verify products and navigate routes.
• Collaborate with team to ensure positive customer experiences.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated full-time professionalbox truck delivery driverto join our team. This position is full time with 6th day opportunities for our growing fleet. Deliveries are made to businesses in LA, OC, Ventura and San Bernardino counties. We are located in Commerce, CA and typically dispatch between 6-8am daily. Ideal candidate will have previous experience delivering grocery and produce type items.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate 20–26 ft. box trucks to deliver product via liftgate and electric pallet jack to local businesses
• Operate with customer service as the highest priority behind safety
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations without exception
• Stack cases of waters, drinks, chips, and candy on a dolly regularly for delivery
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds
• Perform simple math calculations such as subtraction and addition after verifying customers’ product
• Use handheld scanners to verify product upon delivery and to navigate to your stops
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience

Job Qualifications

• License & Driving Record:
• Must have a valid Class C driver’s license
• Must have a safe driving record for the past 5 years
• Experience:
• Per our insurance carrier’s requirements, must be at least 23 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years of licensed driving experience
• Box truck driving experience preferred
• Electric pallet jack and lift gate experience preferred
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong professionalism, dependability, and customer service skills
• Effective communication and organization abilities
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Education & Language:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in English required
