Job summary

Johnson Brothers is hiring a Non-CDL Driver to serve the Asheville/Weaverville area, delivering to local retailers, grocery stores and restaurants. CDL is not required, but Class A or B is a plus. The Swingman role covers open routes and pallet deliveries within the surrounding market.

• Active Class B CDL license.
• Must be 21+ and eligible for ABC permit.
• Good motor vehicle record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Make deliveries to clubs, stores and restaurants.
• Check-in merchandise and maintain route paperwork.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and clean the truck.

Join Johnson Brothers as a Non-CDL Driver in the Asheville/Weaverville area. Bonus is paid in installments during your first 6 months and is contingent upon meeting attendance expectations.

Delivery Driver will make deliveries to local retail customers, grocery stores, restaurants within the surrounding area. CDL license is not required, however, Class A or B is a plus.

Driver Swingman assists in the delivery process by covering open routes and making pallet deliveries to retail customers within the surrounding market. 1-3 years previous route delivery experience is preferred.

Job Description:

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Make deliveries to club stores or specialty wine shops.
• Check-in merchandise and maintain route associated paperwork.
• Perform pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections and clean interior and exterior of truck.
• Assist other drivers on routes as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Must have an active Class B CDL license.
• Must be 21 years old and must qualify for an ABC permit.
• Good motor vehicle record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner; comply with driver guidelines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to work assigned hours and days as business needs dictate.

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check.
