Job summary

Schwan's Company in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a local CDL Class B route driver to ensure products are available on store shelves. You will deliver to grocery stores, unload, and use handheld tech to document deliveries.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, competitive pay of $50,000–$52,000, plus health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, uniform and footwear allowances, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and place in back room; collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.

What You Will Do

As a local CDL Class B route driver, you will deliver product to grocery stores to ensure our products are available on store shelves.

• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections

What We Look For

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to meet medical certification requirements; must be 21 years or older

• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment

• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
