Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Louisville is hiring immediately for a delivery driver to complete local routes and ensure on-time delivery of products. You will unload shipments, stage items, and collect proofs of delivery while using handheld devices to document daily activity.

The role requires a Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility includes being 21 or older and a readiness to pass background, drug, and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; must be 21 or older.
• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product safely.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products, place product in the back room, and collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections.

What We Look For

• Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using appropriate equipment
• Ability to meet pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical requirements
