Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Class B Lead Delivery Route Driver in Las Vegas, NV, with a 4:00 AM start and Monday–Friday schedule. You will drive CDL-B trucks to deliver dry ice, assist in warehouse supervision, and ensure safe, compliant operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL-B license with recent driving experience or trucking school completion.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience within last 5 years or recent trucking school completion.
• Military CDL experience counts toward required experience.
• No serious violations or DUI in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry ice to customer locations as scheduled.
• Assist in supervising warehouse activities as needed.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack for loading and unloading dry ice.
• Obtain customer signatures and verify load counts; manage returnables.
• Provide customer feedback to Branch Manager.
• Perform pre/post trip truck inspections per DOT guidelines.
• Comply with all policies, safety rules and OSHA requirements.
• Secure cargo before and during transit.

Class B Lead Delivery Route Driver in Las Vegas NV

• Compensation: $30/HR
• Referral Bonus: $1000
• Schedule: Monday - Friday work (start time 4AM)
• Equipment: CDL B trucks with liftgates will be used

• Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer's place of business.
• Assist in supervising warehouse activities within a team environment as needed
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signature, ensure piece count matches load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch.
• Provide customer service and give feedback from customers to the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklist. Keep the inside of the truck clean.
• Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit

Are you a MATCH?

• At least 21 yrs old
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
• Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support".
• No DUI on the last 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification
• Pallet Jack Certification
• Previous supervisory experience within a distribution or warehousing environment is a plus
