Airgas is hiring a Class B Local Delivery Driver in Commerce City, CO for dry-ice logistics. The role involves delivering to the Denver Metro area, operating CDL B trucks with liftgates, and supporting warehouse loading/unloading. Expect early start times, Mon-Fri schedule, and 40-45 hours per week.

Compensation is $28.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, and 401(k) matching. Paid time off, holidays, and early benefits after 30 days are included.

Qualifications

• At least 21 yrs old.
• 1 year CDL Class A or Class B driving experience in last 5 years or completed trucking school in last 12 months.
• Military CDL experience counts.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in last 3 years; or one each.
• No serious violation ticket in last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in last 3 years except for child support.
• No DUI in last 7 years.

Responsabilités

• Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer locations.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load/unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signature and verify load against manifest; collect empty dry ice boxes for return.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to Branch Manager.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT and company procedures; keep truck interior clean.
• Comply with company, safety, DOT and OSHA policies; ensure cargo is secured during transit.

We are looking for you!

• Compensation: $28.00/HR
• Referral Bonus: $1000
• Schedule: Monday - Friday (start time is 4AM) Average 40-45 hours per week
• Equipment: CDL B trucks with liftgates will be used
• Route: Denver Metro area/Front Range of Colorado

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver dry ice to customer's place of business.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signature, ensure piece count matches load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes to be returned to the plant and/or branch.
• Provide customer service and give feedback from customers to the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklist. Keep the inside of the truck clean.
• Comply with all company policies, safety policies and procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.

Required Qualifications

• At least 21 yrs old
• Must have 1 year of CDL Class A or Class B driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
• Confirmed experience driving in the military with a CDL will also count for the required experience.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc) in the last 3 years.
• No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for 'Failure to pay child support'.
• No DUI on the last 7 years.
