Garden State Lumber Products Corp., a 75-year-old family-owned company, is seeking a CDL Class B Truck Driver for a local NYC-area route (New York City, Bronx, Queens) to join our team.

The position requires a clean driving record, safe driving, and compliance with DOT logs and inspections. Manual transmission experience is required, with Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for overtime and bonus pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and adhere to DOT logs and inspections.
• Candidates must be safe, courteous drivers with good communication and record keeping.
• Manual transmission / stick shift experience required.

Responsibilities

Garden State Lumber Products Corp., a 75 year old family owned company is looking to add a CDL Class B Truck Driver for the New York City, the Bronx, and Queens route to our ever growing team. Garden State Lumber is the nation’s premier distributor of quality mouldings, trim boards, sheet goods and architectural accents. As we continue to grow we are looking to add more hard working, dedicated individuals to join our team.

Overtime is available.

Deliveries on this route are going into NYC, the Bronx, and Queens.

Our Class B Drivers are our first line in meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations. Good communication skills and record keeping abilities a must.

Requirements

We are looking for safe, courteous CDL Class B drivers. Must have a clean driving record. Really. If you have moving violations on your license, our insurance company won’t clear you for employment. Our drivers follow all DOT requirements including logs and inspections. We expect you to observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately. Safety is our first goal.

This position requires Manual Transmission / Stick Shift expertise.

• Monday to Friday
