Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a dependable Class B Driver to support healthcare routes in Sturtevant, WI. This full-time role offers consistent daytime hours (Mon-Fri, 5am–3pm), with opportunities for overtime and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

You will collect medical waste and sharps containers, operate up to 26’ box trucks, and provide exceptional service to healthcare facilities along your local route.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and a current DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with a safety-first attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

Driving & Route Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate company vehicles up to 26’ box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections

Physical & Customer‑Facing Work

• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

Valid Class B CDL or valid drivers license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card

Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks

Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections

Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks

Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers

• Non-CDL Pay - $26 per hour
• CDL Pay - $27 per hour
• CDL with HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT - $28 per hour
