Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Wisconsin is hiring a full-time driver to safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers. You will operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks, manage local routes, deliver on schedule, and perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL or clean license with a DOT medical card, DOT logging, and the ability to complete Level 1-3 road checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL or valid drivers license with a clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26' box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1-3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.

What will your job involve?

Driving & Route Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections

Physical & Customer-Facing Work

• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

What are we looking for?
