Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Sturtevant, WI seeks a dependable Class B (or non-CDL) Driver for local routes in a daytime shift.

You will collect and transport medical waste and sharps containers, deliver excellent customer service to healthcare facilities, and maintain safety and DOT compliance throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL or valid driver's license.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and tenure with past employers.

We’re looking for a dependable, safety‑minded Class B (or non-CDL) Driver to support our healthcare routes in the Sturtevant, WI area. This role is perfect for a driver who values consistent daytime hours, local routes, and meaningful work that supports hospitals and healthcare professionals every day.

You’ll be responsible for collecting and transporting medical waste and sharps containers while delivering top‑tier customer service at healthcare facilities along your route.

Driving & Route Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate company vehicles up to 26’ box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections

Physical & Customer‑Facing Work

• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service

Valid Class B CDL or valid drivers license

Experience operating vehicles up to 26’ box trucks

Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections

Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks

Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers

• Permanent position – This is a Full‑time permanent role of 40 hours per week
• Competitive salary – This position is offering a SET (non‑negotiable) rate DEPENDENT ON LICENSE TYPE
• Non-CDL Pay - $26 per hour
• CDL Pay - $27 per hour
• CDL with HAZMAT ENDORSEMENT - $28 per hour
• SIGN ON BONUS! $3K SIGN ON
