Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a dependable Class B driver to support our healthcare routes. This full-time role involves collecting and transporting medical waste, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring DOT compliance on a 40-hour week. The day shift runs 5AM to 3PM with a $28 hourly rate and a $3k sign-on bonus.

HazMat endorsement adds $1 per hour in some cases. Position requires CDL‑B (or non‑CDL equivalent), clean driving record, medical card, and ability to lift heavy

• Loading and unloading; organizing truck per schedule

Job description

We’re looking for a dependable, safety‑minded Class B (or non-CDL) Driver to support our healthcare routes in the Richmond, VA area. This role is perfect for a driver who values consistent daytime hours, local routes, and meaningful work that supports hospitals and healthcare professionals every day.

You’ll be responsible for collecting and transporting medical waste and sharps containers while delivering top‑tier customer service at healthcare facilities along your route.

This position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting!
