Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a safety‑minded driver for a 26‑ft box truck in the West Palm Beach area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high‑quality customer service daily.

Expect a 40‑hour workweek, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with full benefits. Must have a valid DOT Medical Card, perform pre/post trip checks, and comply with DOT regulations and logging requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years delivery experience in a 26 ft box truck.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Touch freight experience.
• Preferred background: Soiled Linens, Ice/Liquor/Pallets of Food Product, Municipal Waste, Medical/Office Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26 ft box truck in a safe manner.

• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the West Palm Beach, FL area. What will your job involve?

• Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 YEARS Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
