Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is hiring a Class B CDL Delivery Driver for day shifts in Conley, GA. You will load, deliver, and unload glass products, plan routes, and maintain delivery records with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with at least 1 year of CDL driving experience after school.
• Must pass a 7-year MVR check.
• Flatbed and Moffett experience preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must work in hot or cold weather.
• Proficient with GPS/navigation tools and route planning.
• Maintain basic logs/records for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete an efficient daily delivery and pickup route.
• Load and unload glass scheduled for delivery.
• Deliver glass to addresses and obtain signatures or proof of receipt.
• Pickup glass along route, including returns and company orders.
• Maintain truck mileage and delivery records.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and report issues.
• Assist with warehouse duties after completion of routes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

A highly motivated and hard-working, reliable, and punctual Delivery Driver. Someone who is ambitious and hardworking and does not mind working in various weather conditions. This is a high-touch position that requires the Delivery Driver to assist with loading and unloading.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.
• Loads and unloads truck of glass scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers glass to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up glass along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

• Class B CDL license with minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience after school.
• Must be able to pass a 7 yr MVR

• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
