Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions seeks a CDL Class A driver to transport glass products from the Conley, GA location. You will load, deliver, and unload freight, maintain logs, and stay in touch with supervision for routing instructions. This role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and compliance with DOT/HOS rules.

Qualifications

• CDL license is required and DOT testing is mandatory.
• Proven ability to navigate diverse routes safely.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass Driver's Testing, DOT Physical, Drug and Background checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive CDL Class A truck to transport glass products to destinations.
• Distribute invoices and delivery tickets for completed loads.
• Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Maintain contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Load and unload glass freight from the delivery truck.
• Inspect truck equipment (tires, lights, brakes, oil, etc.).
• Ensure DOT compliance and Hours of Service tracking.

Who You Are:

Personable, Energetic, Safety-focused CDL driver with a clean driving record and a proven ability to navigate diverse routes and consistently delivers product on time.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Drive truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport glass products to and from specified destinations
• Distributed invoices and delivery tickets for completed load drop-offs.
• Maintain truck log. According to state and federal regulations
• Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
• Load glass freight and unload delivery truck
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• Ensured DOT compliance, legal certifications, and Hours of Service (HOS) tracking in accordance with SAMSARA regulations.
• Other assigned duties

Skills You Bring:

• Must be CDL licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, must pass DOT Physical/ Drug Testing and Background Testing
• Must be able to perform physical duties such as frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, etc.
• Must be able to occasionally work in environments with moving mechanical parts, precious places, and outside weather conditions
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
