Job summary

Modern Builders Supply, Inc. is seeking a CDL B Driver to join Team MBS in the Midwest. You will deliver roofing, siding, windows and doors to job sites, load and unload materials, and maintain vehicle logs.

Qualifications

• CDL B license or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to load/unload materials and climb rooftops as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication for customer service.
• Capable of performing physical work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to jobsites.
• Load and unload materials; stock and assist rooftop deliveries.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and logs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Support warehouse tasks and general upkeep as required.

As a CDL B Driver on our team, a few of your duties will include:

• driving vehicle to transport and deliver roofing, siding, windows, and doors to jobsite
• loading and unloading materials
• filling customers orders
• inspecting and maintaining vehicle equipment and supplies
• maintaining records such as vehicle logs
• assisting rooftop deliveries by stocking residential roofs with shingles via crane or conveyor
• general warehouse work including maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and facilities as needed

We will invest in training, resources and guidance.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

A successful CDL B Driver candidate must be career-oriented, have initiative, ambition, and a strong interest and desire to learn the business from the ground up.

Additional Qualifications For a CDL B Driver Position Include

• Must have, or be willing and able to obtain, a CDL B
• Must be willing and able to get on rooftops to load and move materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with an emphasis toward customer satisfaction
• Capable of physical work
