Job summary

Optimum Staffing Solutions seeks a CDL-B driver for a full-time role in Sterling, VA. You will operate a Class B Straight Truck (Flatbed) delivering premium materials on a local multi-stop schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with OT after 40 hours and weekly pay.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, DOT compliance, loading/unloading, securing cargo, and completing bills of lading using an iPad or tablet. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable CDL-B driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience making local multi-stop deliveries.
• Ability to safely secure cargo using straps, chains, ties, and binders.
• Ability to understand and complete bills of lading and delivery paperwork.
• Previous experience using an iPad or tablet is preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Lift up to 65 lbs and carry 30 lbs the length of the truck bed.
• DOT Physical, Driving Test, Drug Screen, Background Check, and MVR Review required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium surface materials, including hardwood flooring, countertops, backsplash tile, and related products.
• Perform touch freight, assisting with loading, unloading, and properly securing cargo using straps, chains, ties, and binders.
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain DOT compliance, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.
• Accurately complete bills of lading and delivery documentation using an iPad or tablet when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
