Clean Harbors is seeking a Class B CDL Sales Route Driver in Des Moines, IA to drive a box truck, service parts washers, and upsell products on a defined route. Training for Hazmat/Tanker endorsements will be provided, with paid academy training away from home if required.

Expect field visits to multiple sites daily and safety as a core priority. The role offers a pay range of $24–$26 per hour plus commission, with full benefits after 30 days, 401(k) and stock purchase options.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug test.
• Must meet facial hair standards per OSHA respiratory protection requirements.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority and follow all safety policies.
• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Safety-Kleen in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Class B CDL Sales Route Driver (Sales and Service Route Driver).

This role will train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Note: This position requires new hires to attend our out-of-state Academy training, which may require being away from home for a period of time. Training duration may vary based on scheduling and program requirements. Training is paid, and related expenses are covered by the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
