Safety-Kleen in Chester, VA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver to train on driving a Class B box truck, provide on-site service for parts washers, and upsell products and services on a defined route. The role supports health and safety best practices and may visit 10–12 customer sites daily.

Qualifications include Class B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days, strong communication and customer service skills, and ability to pass background checks and a medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing sites.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles per DOT and company rules.
• Follow environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• May visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Up-sell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
