Job summary

Binford Supply LLC in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to perform daily local runs for contractors and suppliers, and to assist with warehouse and yard duties.

You will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safe cargo handling while complying with all regulations. The role may require overtime and involves working in varying conditions, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Class B CDL driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Six months of experience operating a flatbed truck.
• Knowledge of FMCSA Clearinghouse and ELD requirements.
• Experience with GPS systems and map reading.
• Safe driving record and emphasis on safety.

Description

Binford Supply is searching for a Class B CDL Driver to make daily local runs to contractors and runs to suppliers. In addition, the driver will also assist with warehouse and yard activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all duties per company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for safe commercial motor vehicle operations.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s record of duty status, mileage records, and other records required by law.
• Travel to local areas, make deliveries to businesses and residences and apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicles at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic and inclement weather. This includes going forward and backing up long distances, around corners, and in and around tight areas. May travel long distances.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles and trailers to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and maintain logs of vehicle services and repair status.
• Follow company reporting procedures for any injuries, vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage.
• Follow appropriate company safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
• Responsible for proper handling and accurately completing all necessary truck operation and freight movement paperwork.
• Operate equipment, such as truck cab computers / tablets, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Responsible for performing proper cargo load securement and maintaining safe load securement throughout trip
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Mon-Fri 7AM-4pm

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• One year of Class B CDL driving experience
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle
• Six months of experience operating a flatbed truck
• Knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
• Experience with strapping/securement
• Registered with FMCSA clearinghouse
• Knowledge of Electronic Logging requirements, GPS systems, and ability to read maps
• Clean driving record and diligent attention to safety
