Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including up to 26' trucks, following DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver materials to customer project sites on time and provide excellent customer service.
- Unload and stage materials, verify deliveries against packing slips, and handle materials professionally.
- Maintain a safe warehouse environment, follow OSHA requirements, and use proper lifting techniques and PPE.
- Attend required meetings and training programs.
- Operate forklift or other company equipment as required; additional training may be provided.
- Support company values: safety, customer focus, teamwork, integrity.
Physical Job Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation.
- Frequent driving or sitting in truck/forklift for multiple hours.
- Occasional lifting of up to 80 lbs and climbing ladders with up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling carts over various distances; may work as a team.
- Must learn to operate forklift and use miscellaneous tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (Class B also considered with relevant equipment experience).
- Ability to operate forklift and/or Moffett truck-mounted forklift.
- Experience with flatbed, building materials delivery, or job site deliveries preferred.
- Strong understanding of load securement and DOT safety regulations.
- Ability to load, unload, and handle materials in physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors, fast‑paced, customer‑facing.
- Dependable, strong work ethic, commitment to safety.
